The National Conservation Campaign, Water – Be the Change is in full swing and after a short pause in distribution due to COVID-19, the town tours have resumed. The mobile unit is currently stationed in Mosta to continue with the distribution of the water gift pack.
Earlier today, Minister for Energy and Water Management Michael Farrugia visited the mobile unit in Mosta where the team explained the work being carried out. The team at the mobile unit is distributing the water saving kit which includes a number of water saving gadgets to install in your households, including a water efficient shower head and aerators.
During these tours, the Water Be the Change mobile unit will be present at various localities to promote the Join the Drops campaign and encourage people to learn more about how we can all play a part in reducing water wastage and that with a little care by each and every one of us, today, will help preserve our water resources for tomorrow.
I have my full water saving kit when mobile unit visited my locality at Hamrun and feel much satisfied. Is it possible to purchase a similar water shower head from the WSC?Please advice.
The water saving kits being distributed to primary residences as part of the national water conservation campaign are intended to educate and promote the utilisation of water efficient devices in our households. Increasing the existing knowledge on the various efficient water use practices will allow each and every one of us to be part of this change to conserve water. Should you be interested in purchasing additional water efficient devices you are kindly recommended to visit one of the bathroom supply or hardware stores already equipped with water efficient shower heads similar to those being distributed as part of the national water conservation campaign. For additional tips on water saving please visit the campaign website at http://www.water.org.mt.
