The REEValue project has been successfully awarded LIFE funding by the European Commission and will be launching its first public workshop on the 19th of September at the Għajn Centre in Rabat. Led by the Energy & Water Agency (EWA) and supported by the Malta Business Bureau (MBB), this initiative is backed by a consortium of value chain experts from across Europe. The project aims to support logistics companies and agri-foods manufacturing businesses in reducing costs, accessing financing opportunities, and implementing carbon emission reduction strategies. The workshop will link businesses directly with consultants to facilitate these goals.

Registration for the workshop is now open, with a limit of 40 businesses able to attend in person. Interested participants can register online via direct link in the above button. The agenda features speakers from Ireland and Italy, including experts from AEMS (an Irish logistics consultancy), Sammontana (an ice-cream manufacturer), the University of Brescia, and others. These contributors will offer diverse specialisations and insights on reducing costs and greening value chains.

Companies interested in benefiting from the REEValue project are encouraged to attend the workshop. Participation includes two and a half years of direct support at no cost. The REEValue project, funded through the EU’s LIFE programme, is a direct means for the European Commission to achieve its policy objectives, with actions carried out by the consortium partners. This workshop is the first in a series of annual events targeting the sectors involved. EWA and MBB strongly encourage businesses to get in touch and are ready to support their competitiveness and sustainability goals.
