This midterm holiday, families are invited to step into a world where nature meets Halloween magic at The Chadwick Halloween Trail, happening on Monday, 3rd November 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Chadwick Lakes.
Organised by the Energy and Water Agency, this free family event blends fun, learning, and environmental awareness in one exciting day out. Set against the beautiful natural surroundings of Chadwick Lakes, the event promises engaging activities for children and adults alike.
The Children can take part in Osbert’s Haunted Trail, a nature-themed treasure hunt, or enjoy short educational shows at The Mascots’ Lair, featuring the beloved Għajn Centre mascots, Zoe, Drago, and Osbert. The open-air theatre play, The Fairly Hydrated Knight, will entertain families while highlighting the importance of water conservation in a fun and imaginative way.
The young visitors will also have the chance to get creative at The Little Painters’ Patch, while The Witches’ Arcade offers a range of fun games and challenges. For those eager to learn more about the area, the Fiddien Box Recreational Area will be open throughout the day, showcasing the history, biodiversity, and restoration efforts.
To make the experience even smoother, a free shuttle service will run from the Għajn National Water Conservation Awareness Centre to Chadwick Lakes.
