The Energy and Water Agency has just launched the second R&I call for project proposals under the National Strategy for R&I in Energy and Water (2021-2030) with a budget of €700,000. The 2021 call seeks to support projects in the fields of Energy and Water, with seven overarching topics to choose from. Research grants range from €60,000 to a maximum of €120,000 per project and must be completed within eighteen to twenty-four (18-24) months.
Projects from a variety of disciplines are encouraged to apply; from engineering and natural sciences to social and behavioural sciences, big data, and artificial intelligence. However, all proposals must fall within Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2-6. All proposals must be submitted by 30th June 2021. For further information on the application process please click here.
