The ENI CBC MED NAWAMED final event, which took place on the 18th of July 2023 at the prestigious Europa Hotel in Latina (Lazio Region, Italy), was a significant milestone in the project’s journey.
The conference started with a press briefing, providing an exclusive opportunity for media representatives to learn about the groundbreaking achievements of NAWAMED. The project aimed to change urban water management practices through innovative, sustainable, and low-cost treatment technologies. These technologies could be applied in a decentralized way to replace the use of potable water with good quality non-conventional water (NCW).
Following the press briefing, a dynamic round table discussion between project partners and local stakeholders encouraged collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants. This discussion aimed to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project’s impact.
To conclude the evening, the NAWAMED event brought the audience into the world of cinema by presenting and screening the captivating movie produced by the project, titled “Gocce di Rugiada” (Drops of Dew). This movie aimed to provoke thoughts about the urgency of promoting Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and the use of non-conventional water resources (NCWR).
On the 19th of July, the NAWAMED partnership gathered for the last project meeting to discuss the final activities to be implemented leading up to the project’s end in September 2023.
