The Energy and Water Agency has moved from its previous premises and is now operating in Pinto Business Centre, Triq il-Mitħna, Ħal Qormi. On the 6th of July, the Minister for Energy, Enterprise, and Sustainable Development Miriam Dalli, together with the CEO Manuel Sapiano inaugurated the new offices of the Energy and Water Agency.

The new premises will facilitate and ease the work that will be carried out by the employees of the Energy and Water Agency. Manuel Sapiano continued to add that the ‘new offices offer more flexibility to the employees and are in line with the public sector guidelines to improve the overall wellbeing and work experience of the employees. The facilities will allow new opportunities and strengthened work-life balance for the employees. Additionally, this will attract new employees to work with us and continue helping us expanding the work we are carrying out.’

During her visit, Minister Dalli spoke with and thanked all the employees for their hard work. Minister Dalli stated that she is ‘very satisfied with the inauguration of the new offices of the Energy and Water Agency. The premises will assist in strengthening the role of the agency. The Energy and Water Agency is extremely important to us, as together with the Ministry for Energy, Enterprise, and Sustainable Development we work hand in hand on developing policies for the country. These policies help our country move towards more efficiency, more renewable energy, and strengthened water policies, I am convinced that the premises will continue to strengthen the role of the Energy and Water Agency and assist our country in developing strong policies in these important sectors.
