The 6th Call of the Energy and Water Efficiency Scheme for Voluntary Organisations will be opening again today, giving eligible organisations another opportunity to receive support for projects that can help them use energy and water more efficiently.
Managed by the Energy and Water Agency, the scheme aims to support voluntary organisations in making practical improvements to their premises, while helping them reduce consumption, lower operational costs and contribute to Malta’s sustainability goals.
Funding can be used for solutions that improve energy efficiency, reduce water use and/or increase water availability, helping organisations make their facilities more efficient and sustainable.
Who can apply?
Eligible voluntary organisations that are looking to improve the way they use energy and water can apply.
How to apply
Before submitting an application, organisations are encouraged to read the Scheme Rules, particularly Section 9, which outlines the application process. Any required templates can also be downloaded from the relevant scheme page.
Applicants should ensure that their application fully complies with the Scheme Rules before submission, as no deviations or negotiations will be permitted after the application has been submitted.
Applications will remain open until the available funds are exhausted.
Applications must be submitted online through the designated application link, which is available during the application period.
For any questions or assistance, contact the Energy and Water Agency on scheme.vo@gov.mt or 2229 2558.
